Meet Miss Kaye
HELPING YOU WITH ENGAGING AND INTERACTIVE RESOURCES FOR YOUR TODDLERS OR PRESCHOOLERS!
A few years ago, I wasn’t planning to start a YouTube channel, blog or create printable resources. I was simply a mom looking for ways to help my daughter learn.
As an early childhood educator, I knew the importance of play, books, songs, movement, and hands-on learning. But when traditional resources didn’t always fit my daughter’s learning style, I found myself creating my own.
What started as simple activities at home eventually became Learn With Miss Kaye.
Today, you’ll find story retelling activities, circle time ideas, printable resources, visual supports, and playful learning activities inspired by real experiences in our home. Many of the ideas I share were first tested by my biggest teacher of all—my daughter YanYan.
If you’ve ever searched for ways to make learning more engaging, help a child participate during story time, support communication, or simply bring a little more joy into your day, you’re in the right place.
I’m especially passionate about creating resources that are welcoming to all learners, including children who are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. I try to support our GLP (Gestalt Language Processors) community and children who benefit from visual supports, movement, repetition, and interactive learning experiences.
My hope is that Learn With Miss Kaye feels like a friendly place where parents, teachers, therapists, and caregivers can find practical ideas that are easy to use and fun for children.

Things Miss Kaye Loves
- Children’s Books. My bookshelves are overflowing, and I somehow always find room for just one more story.
- Story Props & Puppets. Give me a laminator, popsicle sticks, plush toys and a good book, and I’m a happy teacher.
- Learning Alongside My Daughter. Many of my best ideas come from watching, playing, and learning with my daughter.
- Songs, Movement & Silly Voices. Whether I’m reading a story or teaching a lesson, there’s a good chance I’ll break into a song or use a funny character voice.
- A Huge Bowl of Greens. While some people run on coffee, I run on giant salads loaded with crunchy vegetables and homemade dressing.
- Creating Resources. I genuinely love turning ideas into activities that help children learn through play, stories, and hands-on experiences.
- Simple Family Moments. Some of my favorite moments are reading together on the couch, going on little adventures, and making memories with my family.
